People Portraits: I can produce a beautiful detailed drawing from your favourite photos of friends or members of your family. Even old or black and white photos as long as they remain clear. A portrait makes a lovely gift & a great way to remember special occasions such as weddings. There is no obligation to buy the finished portrait unless you are delighted! All my drawings are highly detailed to capture expression and movement accurately. You can commission me to draw you in the surf. I work from photographs but they must be clear. It is helpful if you can send me a selection of photos to choose from. I can also get a better idea of what the subject looks like and the best angle to draw from. If you are able to take some photos specifically for me to draw from then try to get a good close up of the subject. When photographing people, the eyes are one of the most important features so these must be clear and free from red eye. Cars and motorbikes look good with plenty of reflections in them but not too bright sunlight! Your portrait will look more interseting if you can take the picture at a good angle. A three quarter angle is unsually best. If you aren't sure if your photos are suitable for a portrait then please feel free to send them to me anyway along with an SAE and I can take a look (all will be returned) |
