Portraits are drawn from your photographs.
They are drawn on high quality, heavy weight paper and mounted, ready to frame (All portraits will fit in standard sized frames that you can buy ready-made)

Please order well in advance for Christmas as I'm often busy at that time of year. If you would like a commission in time for a special occasion such as a birthday please let me know and I will do my best to meet the deadline for you.

There is no obligation to buy the finished portrait unless you are delighted! I can E-mail the picture to you so it can be approved before I post you the original.

Tips on Photographs:

I work from photographs but they must be clear. It is helpful if you can send me a selection of photos to choose from. I can also get a better idea of what the subject looks like and the best angle to draw from.

If you are able to take some photos specifically for me to draw from then try to get a good close up of the subject. When photographing people, the eyes are one of the most important features so these must be clear and free from red eye.

If you aren't sure if your photos are suitable for a portrait then please feel free to send them to me anyway along with an SAE and I can take a look (all will be returned)

I will not require any payment until the portrait is complete and you are entirely satisfied with it (I will send an E-mail with a photo of the finished portrait for you to approve)

When your portrait is completed I can E-mail you a copy for you to approve. If you are happy with your portrait I will then require you to post me a cheque for the full amount, I also accept credit/debit card payments via Pay Pal. If you would like to pay via Pay Pal, please let me know and I will send you an E-mail invoice (this contains full instructions on how to pay, its very easy to use)

As soon as I receive your payment I will send your portrait via Special next day delivery (this is insured against loss or damage)

All portraits are carefully packaged flat and posted via special delivery (insured) at a cost of: Small portraits = £4.00 to the UK, Medium portraits = £7.00, large portraits will be at a cost of approx £9.00 and very large portraits at a cost of £15.00
